TAX BILLS COMING SOON!

Property Taxes are billed once a year. The 2022 Final / 2023 Preliminary bills are scheduled to be mailed around July/August of 2022. The due date for  3rd quarter taxes is normally August 1st.   However, bills cannot be mailed out until the new 2023 tax rate is struck. If bills are mailed late the new due date will be printed on the 2022 3rd quarter stub, which will be 25 days from the date the bill was mailed.

We will update any information as soon as it becomes available.

If you receive an "Advice Only" tax bill, but do not have a mortgage company, please notify the tax office and use this bill to pay your taxes.

Municipal Offices closed on Monday May 30
Monday May 30 is an observed holiday that will cause a 1 day delay all week in trash pickup.

Please note: Parking for the event TODAY Sunday May 15 will open at 11:00 AM, and will be located at 10,000 Midlantic Drive.

Starting at 8:00 AM on Sunday 5/15 Walt Whitman Ave will be closed to traffic with detours in place. From Mount Laurel Road vehicles will proceed to RT 38 Eastbound to Midlantic Drive. From Midlantic Drive vehicles will proceed to RT 38 Westbound to Mount Laurel Road. Parking for the event will be at 10,000 Midlantic Drive and 15,000 Midlantic Drive.

Parking will open at 11:00 AM. NO parking will be allowed at the Municipal Complex.

NJEDA to Open Small Business Improvement Grant Application on February 10th

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) today announced plans to open applications for its Small Business Improvement Grant on Thursday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. The Small Business Improvement Grant is the second of several products the NJEDA is launching under the Main Street Recovery Program, to help small businesses become more resilient and position themselves for growth.

WINTER WEATHER ALERT 
A winter storm is expected to hit our area this weekend.
-Please remove all portable basketball courts from the road for Public Works to plow efficiently and effectively
-Place trash cans on the grass strip between the sidewalk and curb where possible
-All residents should remove their cars from the street if possible

Shop local businesses all along Creek Road for holiday gifts. From 6-9:00pm.

Mount Laurel Township and Township Council are excited to announce the completion of the new playground at Laurel Acres.
Officially opening tomorrow Wednesday November 24th, the new playground will feature multiple slides, a rock climbing wall, a sky run zip track, shade canopies, and accessible features for all children to enjoy. In the spring/summer of 2022 the Township will add additional benches and picnic tables to accommodate families.
Mayor Steglik viewed the playground completion today, stating "The Township has made it a priority to make our playgrounds as accessible as possible. Laurel Acres park gives our residents a place to gather to connect and share memories.”
The Township has worked to ensure that Laurel Acres Park and playgrounds remain one of the best in South Jersey.

Please note that the Township municipal office and facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25 and Nov. 26, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Due to the holiday, regularly scheduled trash pick-up will be moved back one day.
Thursdays (Nov.25) trash will be picked up on Friday.
Fridays (Nov.26) trash will be picked up on Saturday.

Mount Laurel Township has introduced two additional walk up windows at the Municipal Township building.
Going into effect today, the walk up windows are a resource for residents to get questions answered by a township employee in an effort to improve overall service and reduce wait times.

Pursuant to recent legislation enacted by the State of New Jersey and in an effort to minimize social gatherings, the Mount Laurel Township Council Meeting regularly scheduled for Monday, September 13, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at 100 Mount Laurel Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054 will be held through electronic means only.

Taxes are now able to be viewed and paid on our website. We just received our tax rate so we will be mailing the new bills out within the next week or so. The due date for 3rd quarter taxes has been extended to September 17th
