There is a ten (10) day grace period. (N.J.S.A. 54:4-66)
Postmarks: Postmarks will not be accepted.
Interest: Interest will be charged at the rate of 8% on the first $1,500.00
of delinquency and 18% on any amount of delinquency over $1,500.00.

Receipts: To receive a receipt for payment, please include a self-addressed
stamped envelope. No receipt will be sent unless a self-addressed stamped
envelope is included.
Mortgages: If you have a mortgage company escrowing for taxes and they do
not receive a copy of the tax bill from the Tax Office it is your
responsibility to see that they get a copy.
Change of Mailing Address: Please contact the Tax Assessor's Office @

Tax Deductions: Contact the Collector or the Assessor's office for
applications.
Duplicate bill fee: The duplicate bill fee is $2.00
REMEMBER:
IF TAXES ARE NOT PAID BY THE 10TH, INTEREST WILL BE CHARGED BACK TO THE DUE DATE.
Note of Advice:
If your bringing your tax payment in try to avoid Tuesdays since we hear from our taxpayers that there is no parking available, because Mt. Laurel holds Court on Tuesdays.
Paying your taxes in the year they are due not only avoids a Lien on your property but keeps the Reserve For
Uncollected Taxes at a minimal. That relates to keeping the Local Purpose Tax Stable.
Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze)
If you can answer yes to all of the questions below, you may be eligible for
the Property Tax Reimbursement Program.
1. Were you 65 years old or Disabled, receiving Federal Social Security
Benefits as of December 31, 2009?
2. Did you live in New Jersey since before January 1, 2010?
3. Did you live in your current home since before January 1, 2007?
4. Was your income
—2008: $70,000 or less?
—2009: $80,000 or less?
If you answered yes to all of these questions you can obtain an
application by calling the Property Tax Reimbursement Hotline @ 1-800-882-6597
or scrolling down to the bottom of this page and clicking on the link to print
your application.
Please keep in mind that you must come to the Tax Collector's Office to have
your PTR1A stamped and completed to verify how much your taxes were and that
they are paid. It only takes a few minutes and you don't need an
appointment.
