DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

Director of Public Works, Mount Laurel Township. Seeking an individual with at least five years of experience managing the functions of a progressive Department of Public Works. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the programs and activities of the Department, which includes streets, roads, sanitation, vehicle maintenance, buildings and grounds, storm water management, engineering, open space, recreation facilities, recycling and other appropriate functions.

The Director will also be a member of the Township's management team. Appointee must be a Certified Public Works Manager or have the ability to obtain the certification within two years. The appointee may also be required to obtain additional related licenses and/or certifications.
